Embroidered and Ruffled White Shirt

For this project I was commissioned to reimagine the classic white shirt. I took an oversized shirt and gave it new life using methods of embroidery and adding ruffles. It was an interesting process to give new life to an unused shirt which would otherwise go to waste. This project was all about self expression and creating a unique spin on a classic garment. The fashion designer that helped to inspire this project is Maria Grazia Chiuri, I was inspired by her political and freeing designs to truly express myself through the medium of fashion design.
